Optimize Your Page Load Speed
No one has time to take things slowly today.
Online consumers are completely in charge of how they spend their surfing time. It's obvious that if your page loads slowly, a high percentage of visitors—about 53%—will leave and never return.
Pages that take a long time to load hurt your SEO. Google started identifying websites and pages that load too slowly around July 2018 and excluding them from search results.
Every marketer may feel like they have another hard pill to chew, but it is feasible to get over this. Check out these suggestions to overcome your website load speed challenges:
Increasing Page Load Speed
Test the speed of your website. Identify your site's loading speed first. You can measure and troubleshoot your website speed issues using a variety of tools. Check out these resources: Pingdom, Google's PageSpeed Insights, or GTmetrix.
picture sizes are shrunk. Every image is good as long as it doesn't make the page less usable. Without compromising the quality, there are programs that can help you compress and resize your photographs. Find them out!
Correct page issues. 404 errors are terrible news for both you and your clients, particularly if they aren't receiving any traffic. But if they do, you might want to think about rerouting them.
AMP up. Most websites take longer to load on mobile devices, and really, you should be able to remedy that now. Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) opens up a solution to this problem. Best feature? Additionally, when accessed on a mobile device, having your site appear in Google's Top Stories Carousel offers it a boost.
Cut back on your plugins. They could be useful in certain ways, but having too many plugins installed can cause your site to load slowly. Keep the essentials and throw out the ones that aren't really needed.
